Building out their line of Apples and Bananas hybrids, Compound Genetics has a new member – and its name is Goofiez. The indica-leaning hybrid combines their flagship Apples & Bananas strain with Jokerz. This pairing unites the family trees of Girl Scout Cookies (GSC), Gelato, and Runtz – to name a few. Its deep green leaves woven with dark bronze pistils are buried under trichomes with an appearance resembling raw, unrefined sugar. Straight out of the jar, the buds emanate a fragrance of citrus, berries, and petrol. This carries over to its flavor, with added notes of spice and an earthy finish. The strain’s Jokerz father hails from a parentage of White Runtz and Jet Fuel Gelato – two monsters of retail popularity expressed through Goofiez’s outstanding terpene profile. Sitting directly across the dinner table is its Apples and Bananas mother – exponentially widening its already neck deep gene pool to include Platinum Cookies, Grand Daddy Purple, Blue Power, and Gelatti.
