Is weed legal in Providence?

Absolutely! Weed is actually legal in all of Massachusetts and Rhode Island. A word of caution, however: carrying weed across state lines can carry large penalties, and it’s important that you consume any cannabis that you purchase in Massachusetts within state lines. It’s still considered a felony to carry weed across state lines, as doing so is classified as trafficking a Schedule I controlled substance. While this means you can’t take your THC delights home with you, it’s the perfect reason to schedule a weekend getaway to enjoy all that Massachusetts has to offer.
