Weed Wars is Rhode Island’s premier cannabis competition, and the state’s top cultivators are battling it out for the ultimate bragging rights.

Solar Cannabis Company has a lot of faith in our customers. We know that you have a refined palate and can truly let us know the best of the best in Rhode Island. You can become an official judge if you’re at least 21 years old. Here’s how:

• Get your official judge’s kit from Solar Cannabis Company in Warwick. Judging kits will go live starting May 21, allowing you to crown the winner. Become a Solar Insider to get early access. Our loyalty club members will get exclusive access to the judge kits before they sell out. You can’t find the kits at any other location, only at Solar Cannabis Co.
• Sample the options from the judge kit. You’ll find samplings from the top cultivators in Rhode Island. Weed Wars will honor products from six categories, including the best Indica Strain, Sativa Strain, Hybrid Strain, Pre-rolls, Non-Solvent Extracts, and Edibles.
• Score your favorites. As part of your kit, you can rank the competitors and pick your top choices. Votes will be tallied, and the winner will be announced live at the Weed Wars event in June.

The Main Event

Once the judging is over, the celebration will start. The Weed Wars will end with an awards ceremony and concert event. The unforgettable night will take place in June at a venue in Smithfield, RI. Expect plenty of fun as we dance the night away. We will have lots of food as we celebrate cannabis culture and the importance of quality craftsmanship. Years of work go into creating the perfect strain, and we want to honor those who make a positive impact on the Rhode Island cannabis community.

Past Winners

Last year, the competition was fierce as the state’s best producers went head-to-head to win Weed Wars. We had dozens of entries but only a select few winners. Last year’s winners included:

• 1st Place for Indica: Hank’s Herbs for Sundae Brunch
• 1st Place for Pre-Roll: Mammoth Inc for Cap Junky

Brands interested in competing can register through the dedicated Weed Wars website. To enter, they must provide basic details about their brand and registered strains.
