Off-grid: how soaring cannabis markets are forcing an energy rethink
As we know it, the indoor cannabis industry ranks second-highest in energy consumption in the United States – only second to data storage centers. Imagine that? And If you haven’t heard, the industry isn’t going away. In fact, it’s only continuing to grow on a global scale and at a rapid rate. “For Dow there is already an answer to this challenge. He believes, given the climate emergency and growing appetite among consumers for environmentally conscious brands, growers are starting to look at his type of solution.”
